New Jack Doland fieldhouse now under construction

McNeese State's athletic department personnel that was housed in the Jack Doland athletic fieldhouse has taken up temporary residency in the Pine Haven apartment complex just north of the fieldhouse.

This move was made to allow for the construction of the new Jack Doland fieldhouse which is now underway in the same location.

The project is expected to take 18 months to complete and when it is completed the $8 million two story fieldhouse will be one of the most modern in the nation. It will include locker rooms, weight rooms, meeting rooms, offices and a seated area for football games.

Currently being housed in the Pine Haven apartment complex are the football coaching staff, the athletic director and his staff, the sports information director, the strength and conditioning coach and his staff and the football equipment managers.
